I wish there was a way to put two photos next to each other. Sometimes my photos are small enough where two could fit in a column. Any suggestions? Otherwise, you have to scroll down down down to see all my pictures! Please continue to scroll down haha :)

Frozen Happy Birthday Card

Frozen Happy Birthday Card
Hello all! I have been busy lately and haven't been able to post as often as I would like. School is starting in ONE week for the children and it can get hectic. But, fortunately it will be A LOT quieter at home during the daytime :)

Here is a card I made for my oldest daughter. She likes Frozen - especially Elsa. So I used some scrap pieces of fabric that I used to make her Barbie's some bed sheets and I cut around it and basically put it on a card. Then, I put a High Gloss Glaze finish over the sheet and card to give it a little shine. It actually worked. Unfortunately, the card was not thick and it started to curl a bit. I should've used a thicker cardstock.

It was a little windy outside the day I took these pictures so I really couldn't get creative with my pictures like I usually do. Take a look below.

Beauty Baby Blue Card

Beauty Baby Blue Card
Hello all! I have been a little busy lately, so I've been absent in the card-making crafting center! I love making crafts of all sorts and I hate it when I get soo busy I can't even make one card! I used to make jewelry and do a lot of bead work, but in order to do that I needed time, space, and patience! It always gets crazy around the end of summer because the kids start school in about 3 weeks. Same week is two of my children's birthdays! Soo much to do and prep for... Fortunately, I was able to squeeze in a beautiful turquoise/aqua/blue card.

All those who see my work occasionally know that I always make a mistake or two but I end up loving those mistakes. For this card, I used the wrong glue on some of my flowers and when I added glitter, the glitter clumped up into balls. So once the flowers dried, I added some all purpose glue and just poured the glitter on! Take a look below.

Best Friend Card

Best Friend Card
Here is my last example of using the heat embossing technique (for now). Once I make the perfect card using this example I will definitely share! There was a bit residue left over but I still heated the embossing powder anyway. This is such an easy technique, but I might not have the best patience for this.

Tiffany Card

The Tiffany Card
Here is another example using the heat embossing technique. Each time I try this, there are small problems, but I still like the outcome. Unfortunately, I completed four cards using this technique before I got some advice...such as using a dryer sheet so that the embossing powder only sticks to the ink and there are no leftover flakes  around the card. Now, I need some more advice. I used a textured card and the name Tiffany came out uneven and bumpy. I didn't overheat but I wanted it to come out smooth and...well....embossed!
I didn't have time to decorate the inside of the card.

By the way: Tiffany is my daughter (one of my 4 children....5 if you include my husband) and you can see her lovely chubby cheeks on the right side of my page. She is the beautiful baby girl with the purple headband on. If you click the photo you can also see my other daughter Cristina.
